Tenda W311mi Driver Windows 7

Hi I'm having a continual problem with the Tenda wireless network card installed in my desktop PC. Each time a Windows update takes place the driver wont load. The driver is the windows recommended one. The following message is displayed in the device manager 'This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. I've been able to resolve the problem in the past, but not this time. The trouble shooter's not been able to find a solution.

I've attempted to update the driver but it says it is the most up to date available. When I delete the driver and search for hardware changes it commences a search for a driver and within a couple of seconds the computer locks up.
