Bose Vs2 Software

Let me correct, was a loose audio cable, now the problem is only with the VS-2. The software update did not kill the audio. The media center audio works from CD or stored or FM, but not from TV. (I am using HDMI cables: output of the cable/DVD box connected to the VS-2 CBL/SAT input with HDMI cable and HDMI cable from the VS-2 to the TV) The TV vidio is switched properly, but to get audio I have to go into settings/Audio and change CBL.SAT/VCR Audio to 'TV Stereo' (vs Bose 5.1 default). Of course that means that all audio from VS2 goes to TV speakers not Bose.

May 15, 2017 - I recently had my Lifestyle 38 system repaired which cleared memory. It has been connected to a VS-2 video enhancer for the past 7 or 8 years which it can no longer communicate with due to missing firmware patch.
